Living In Red Deer

Red Deer, Alberta is located between Calgary to the south and Edmonton My to the north separated by 144 km (90miles) of freeway in each direction. It's location lends itself as a hub of business activity. As of July 2010 the population of Red Deer was 90,084 with over 27,000 dwellings. Red Deer County adds 18,000 to the population and in excess of 7,300 homes.

Red Deer has become a service area to many communities along the corridor and to the east and west. Many choose to live in the smaller centres and commute to Red Deer. Those centres include Lacombe and Ponoka to the north, Bentley and Sylvan Lake to the west, Stettler and Delburne to the East, Innisfail and Olds to the south

Central Alberta is a vibrant area, Thanks to a solid, diverse economy, excellent family facillities, countless recreational and entertainment options, people by the thousands have been discovering Red Deer and surrounding communities in recent years.
